Chopped & Screwed.

HECKKKAA obsessed with T-Pain's & Luda's "Chopped & Screwed." Geeze, talk about Cali slang, and homeboy doesn't even live there. Oh well, some things are worth biting.

Today in church, my Chaplin focused his homily on what happens next after this physical life on earth, eventually discussing our ultimate happiness being shared with God in Heaven. Though I see myself as a somewhat-devout Catholic, I couldn't keep focus on the topic but thought further and wondered if I do make it to my ultimate happiness with God (as I intend to), do I live with him and his people forever, for all of eternity? I mean, what is life after death? I certainly don't question my church's teachings, however I am a very inquisitive person, and I just want to know what's in store for me. Thinking about the future of our world and who knows, the worlds proceeding us is quite frightening to me, but naturally, the future of this lifetime, of my lifetime is accordingly unknown. I just pray to God that I'm ready for anything.

I am not religious. I do feel I am somewhat spiritual though. I always find myself pondering what will happen after everything is done -- my life, other people's lives, the world, the universe. It honestly sounds a bit boring that we go elsewhere, whether it be heaven or something else -- how can happiness make someone happy forever? Isn't it the ups and downs in life that make it worth living? I don't know -- but, happiness and contentment sounds a bit boring. I may just be a little cynical.

Anywayssss -- hahaha. You're in the pacific? So am I! I'm in Hawaii. =) Where are you located?

Yeah -- I noticed a lot of people tend to do that. Especially with fashion blogs. The more pictures = morecomments. But, I do feel that text is just as important. =)

I've thought about where we go after life too. I was brought up without a religion to attach myself to, so I am uneducated when it comes to stuff like this. When I do think about life after death it becomes such a huge and unreachable thing that I have a really hard time grasping. THinking about it makes me way to sad and makes me wonder why some amazing people have to leave this earth and where they go to. Like it's so weird that they're breathing right next to you and the next their soul and life has left their body.... don't know what I'm trying to get at, but yeah. :)

Boy, I feel you. I just went to church yesterday, and it does say in the bible, that we are living in the last days. Meaning that yes, the world will end, and that we will eventually and unfortunately go to heaven or hell.

From what I read in the bible, it says in John 3:3 "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above (in a new way) before you can see God's Kingdom(Heaven)" This is what my version says, and in my understanding it means that if we give our life to jesus and live a new life that includes him and glorifies him in it, then we will have eternal life with him in heaven.

I hope this helped you a bit, because this helps most of my friends that have the same wonders as you. I'm not saying that just cos I know this means that I know Ima go to heaven or something, but I'm a good person, I don't do anything bad..but I know for myself that even that is not enough to get my butt up there. but if you got questions don't hesitate to ask. and if i've offended you..sorry boo. I didn't mean too! Just trynna help out :)

Hola amigo :-)
So I was going reading your blog and I've been in your shoes too before regarding the same EXACT question. I myself was a devout Catholic but I always had so many questions left unanswered that could not be answered by the authorities of the church. I always felt something missing in me, until I got to know my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ who completed me. Don't worry I won't preach to you, Lol. But I just wanted to tell you that it's okay to have questions. It's also not a matter of religion, but rather you're one on one relationship with God. If it helps answer your question, "What is life after death?"...you could read 1 Corinthians 15:12 or the whole chapter even. I'm sure you know that God is a loving God, and if you have questions, I'm sure that he'll understand and want your questions answered. I'll keep you in prayer to help you find an answer. God bless always!
Again, I hope you find answers to what you're looking for.
